The Gold Coast Lapidary Club annual Gem, Craft & Jewellery Show will be held on the Saturday 30th June 2018

Location: Gold Coast Lapidary Club Rooms 80 Pacific Ave, Mermaid Waters 4218.

Hours 8am – 4pm

$5 entry per adult includes 2 free raffle tickets (Fabulous Prizes, lucky door prize draw at 12.15pm, grand prize draws between 2.30 & 3pm), children under 12 free.

All Welcome!

Traders showcasing the latest in lapidary equipment, jewellery, findings, finished jewellery, etc.

Tailgaters with slabs of rough material, jewellery, specimens etc.

‘How To’ workshop demonstrations.

Competitions for open and novice classes.

ITEMS FOR SALE INCLUDE:                                                                                          

Gemstones – Sapphires, Topaz, Citrine, Zircon, Quartz, Opal and much more….

Semi-precious stones and specimens.  Crystals, Minerals, Fossils etc..

If you had thought of doing a stone better put your good new grit on to get it done or like the chefs on TV, “here’s one I prepared earlier”.

Gold Coast Lapidary Club are nominated to cook breakfast on Sunday morning and I have 4 members that are going to offer their services however if you are going to the Gemboree could you let me know and maybe volunteer to give them a hand for an hour or so, they would appreciate it.

Gem Fair Prizes

Hi members, One of our thoughtful members suggested posting photos of our prizes as this might help to sell more tickets to our Gem Fair, last Saturday in June, 29th June 2013.

Don’t forget we have more books available at the club so don’t limit yourselves to one. Sell them to your mates, neighbour’s, family etc. as it is good for the show.

All members and visitors welcome. No classes will be run on this day but if you would like to know more about the Gold Coast Lapidary Club, it is a good time to drop in and check out the club activities.

We would like as many members as possible to turn up and show visitors what we are all about.

All those unwanted items you keep tripping over in your garage can now be donated to a good cause, your lapidary club! We are not thinking lapidary items; ant generalitems will do. We would like them in sound condition though.

Goods can be left any time after October general meeting in the casting area of the club with a note for Geoff or Wayne.
