Basic cabochon cutting is taught by experienced instructors, this is "hands on ". All materials and equipment is supplied. You will be guided through the complete process to create three stones for evaluation. All with technical aspects.
Courses are available Monday to Friday 10.00am to 3pm
Monday Wednesday Friday 6.00pm to 9.00pm
Saturday 10.00am to 3.00 pm
Cost is $10.00 per day
- An introductory lesson is also available free.

A beginners kit for this course is $95.00
This course is offered once a member has completed basic stone cutting.

Slightly more advanced skills are needed here as you are now honing very fine "windows" on your stone for light to bring your gem to life.
There is a "halleluiah" moment on completion.
This course is offered once a member has completed basic stone cutting.

In jewellery casting, a wax pattern is made into a jewellery mould, which is then filled with molten metal or silver.
We have a vulcaniser which allows you to make your own personalised vulcanised moulds which we then inject wax into from our wax injector.
This course is offered once a member has completed basic stone cutting
